Puerto Rico has lost hundreds of thousands of residents over the past decade as families search for greater economic opportunities elsewhere. But what if entrepreneurship could become part of the solution?
In this Theological Action Research paper, I explore the relationship between entrepreneurship education, economic opportunity, faith, and outmigration in Puerto Rico. Drawing from interviews, surveys, academic research, and theological reflection, this study examines whether an entrepreneurship curriculum can help aspiring entrepreneurs develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to start and grow small businesses.
